Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use the Understand Learning website.

Our approach

We aim to make this website clear, simple and usable for as many people as possible. We use plain language, strong colour contrast, responsive layouts, keyboard-accessible navigation and meaningful alternative text.

Accessibility standard

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet commissioned a full independent accessibility audit, so we don’t claim that every page is fully compliant.

Known limitations

Some older portfolio examples and content created with third-party learning tools may not offer the same level of accessibility as the main website. Some client and supplier logos may also contain text within images.

We will review these areas as the website develops and prioritise fixes that have the greatest effect on users.

Tell us if you need help

If something is difficult to access, email hello@understandlearning.co.uk or call 020 8036 1210. Tell us which page or item you need and the format that would work better for you. We will respond as soon as we can.
